Shabbat:
Har-El provides an inspirational Virtual Shabbat Eve Service on Fridays at 5:00 PM. Our Cantor, Joseph Gole, intones warm, beautiful melodies, both traditional and contemporary, from the treasure house of our liturgy. Our Cantor also invites colleagues from Southern California and throughout the United States as visiting Cantors who also enhance our services. At the end of each Shabbat Eve service, Cantor Gole introduces us to an American-Jewish composer and the contributions he/she has made. Our Rabbi, Richard Zionts, conducts the worship and shares an informative D’var Torah each week relating to Jewish and general themes, which are both timely and relevant. When the Coronavirus is over and we return to our normal activities, we will then, once again, have our First Friday of each month as a Music Shabbat.
