A Word From Rabbi Richard Zionts

The name “Har-El” is Hebrew for “Mountain of God.”

As one ascends a mountain, so do the members of Har-El strive to ascend to the high point of Jewish learning through Har-El’s strong emphasis on study
and learning.

We also seek to ascend to spiritual heights through our worship with inspirational music from our Cantor
Joseph Gole, D.Mus. and our new Organist, Philip Smith, M.Mus.

Through the creation of community, Har-El members reach out to one another and to the Jewish and general communities as we promote fellowship and friendship among our members.

All in all, we believe that we have an exciting program that will make a true difference in the lives of those who affiliate with us.

We look forward to seeing you soon, at worship on Friday evenings, at courses on Wednesdays and at all
our exciting and interesting programs.
