I want to personally welcome you to Congregation Har El. More than a congregation Har El is a community. A community comprised of warm, talented and accomplished people in every field imaginable. Our people are an inspiration. They are the secret of our congregation’s success. They encourage Rabbi Zionts and me with their appreciation and support for our programming, which includes Torah study, lectures by leading scholars, services with quality liturgical music, concerts, social justice and community outreach projects. Our rabbi is a recognized scholar and teacher, professor of philosophy and is on the faculty of the College of the Desert.

Our congregation exudes warmth and friendliness. As instructed in the Torah – “our arms and our hearts are open to the stranger.” People always feel welcome and included.
